Establishment of GAA
The company began its activity in the Indian Ocean zone (Réunion, Mauritius, Madagascar, Mayotte, the Comoros and the Seychelles).
In response to requests from its main partners, and to meet the growing needs and technologies in the French Overseas Territories, GAA has set up new facilities in the outermost regions of the European Economic Area.
This development was largely based on the know-how and skills acquired on Reunion Island. GAA opened its first office in the French West Indies in 2003, when it set up its operations centre in Martinique. This was supplemented a year later, at the end of 2004, by the Guadeloupe platform.
In 2006, GAA established a presence in the Pacific with the creation of an operational platform in Noumea.
From 2014, GAA decided to set up in Africa, following its main customers to Côte d'Ivoire and then Cameroon. Since then, its development on this continent has gone from strength to strength, with business booming in new countries (Benin, Senegal).
With these 4 sites, the company has complete coverage of the French Overseas Territories. As a result, it provides its partners with a network that enables them to offer new services of consistent quality, meeting the most demanding standards.
OUR COMPLIANCE COMMITMENTS
As part of its Quality approach, GAA has introduced various tools to identify, measure and control the risks to which we and our partners are exposed.
The Quality Unit ensures that the operations carried out, the organisation and the procedures put in place comply with legal and regulatory requirements, ethical practices and the internal rules defined by the company's General Management in accordance with our management system and the requirements of our Partners.
Control activities are carried out to prevent malfunctions, ensure that internal processes are appropriate and work properly, and exercise sufficient control over the risks incurred to ensure that they are under control.
The Quality Management System, based on the principle of continuous improvement, is ISO 9001: 2015 certified for operational activities in the Indian Ocean, West Indies and French Guiana, as well as support activities in all territories.
The GAA system handles the following activities for OIA:
- Management and analysis of strategic and operational risks
- Monitoring customer satisfaction and managing complaints
- Steering, Performance and Continuous Improvement
- Anti-Corruption
- Anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism
- Fraud prevention
- Compliance with the regulatory provisions of the Solvency II Directive

These activities are regularly evaluated to ensure that they are being properly applied and to ensure continuous improvement.
